Sir Ralph Norris Joins Wilsons Advisory Board
Wed 30th June, 2021

Wilsons Advisory is pleased to announce the appointment of Sir Ralph Norris and Jeremy Williamson as non-executive directors to the company’s board, effective immediately.

Sir Ralph Norris was recently appointed chair of the Craigs Investment Partners Board and will bring extensive corporate experience and insight to the Wilsons Advisory Board from his previous roles as CEO of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ASB Bank, and Air New Zealand. Jeremy Williamson has been with Craigs since 2009 and was this year appointed Head of Private Wealth and Markets.

Wilsons Advisory CEO Brad Gale welcomed the new directors, “I’m thrilled to welcome Ralph and Jeremy. We are fortunate to add their skills and experience to the board. I look forward to working closely with them to further grow the firm and achieve our strategic goals across the business.”

“Craigs is a fantastic business in New Zealand and have been an excellent partner of ours over the last six years. Neil Craig, Craigs acting CEO, continues on the board.”

Wilsons Advisory closes out the financial year in a strong position, buoyed by a strong schedule of corporate activity, high-quality research and institutional sales and the highest level of funds under advice on record.

“We have had an extremely successful year, delivering great outcomes for our clients across the business including access to capital for corporate clients and excellent portfolio returns for investors in a period of volatility.”

“We are looking forward to this continuing in the new year, including the announcement of future key recruits to further strengthen the firm in coming weeks,” Gale said.
